AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift's fans, famously known as Swifties, are not letting other artists occupy No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. As a result, the "All Too Well" hitmaker's "The Tortured Poets Department" hits an 11th consecutive week atop the tally.
The 34-year-old superstar's latest album remains at No. 1 for 11 weeks straight since its debut on the tally. The record ties her sets titled "1989" and "Fearless" as her longest-leading No. 1 albums. It becomes "the first album by a woman to spend 11 weeks in a row at No. 1 since Whitney Houston-led soundtrack to 'The Bodyguard' strung together 13 straight weeks" atop the chart "from December 1992 to March 1993."
In the chart dated July 13, "TTPD" earns 114,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending July 4, according to Luminate. Billboard reports that the set's SEA units comprise 78,000 or equaling 102.09 million on-demand official streams of all 31 tracks in the record. Meanwhile, traditional album sales comprise 35,000 and TEA units comprise less than 1,000.
Sitting at No. 2 is Morgan Wallen's "One Thing at a Time", which ascends from No. 3 after earning 74,000 equivalent album units. Megan Thee Stallion's self-titled album "Megan" debuts at No. 3 with 64,000 equivalent album units earned. It becomes "the biggest debut, by units, for any rap album released by a woman in 2024" and "the first top 10-charting rap set by a woman released this year."
Following "Megan" is Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft", which is a non-mover at No. 4 as it earns 63,000 equivalent album units. In the meantime, Chappell Roan's "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" rises to No. 5 from No. 6 with 60,000 equivalent album units earned. Similarly, Morgan's "Dangerous: The Double Album" hikes to No. 6 from No. 7 after earning 44,000 equivalent album units.
In contrast, Peso Pluma's "Exodo" is pushed down to No. 7 from No. 5 with just over 40,000 equivalent album units. Meanwhile, Shaboozey's "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going" climbs to No. 8 from No. 10 as it earns 40,000 equivalent album units. Moreover, Noah Kahan's "Stick Season" moves to No. 9 from No. 11 with 39,000 equivalent album units. Beyonce Knowles' country album "Cowboy Carter" drastically flies to No. 10 from No. 50 after earning 39,000 equivalent album units.
