AceShowbiz - Elon Musk seemingly has reignited his feud with Mark Zuckerberg with his recent social media post. The owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, trolled the co-founder of Facebook over the latter's 4th of July video.
On Friday, July 5, the 53-year-old tech mogul made use of his X account to share his reaction to Mark's viral clip. He tweeted, "May he continue to have fun on his yachts." He went on to say, "I prefer to work."
Elon was reacting to a video that Mark uploaded to celebrate Independence Day. On Thursday, July 4, Mark offered Instagram users a look at his fun activity to commemorate the special day. He treated his followers to a short clip from his beach day out.
In his new post, Mark let out footage of him having fun in the ocean. It could be seen that he was showing off his skills in surfing. While playing with the waves, he carried a can of drink and the United States flag with both of his hands.
The chairman, chief executive officer and controlling shareholder of company Meta Platforms, formerly known as Facebook, Inc., looked relaxed and calm when he stood on the surfing board. At one point, he sipped the drink without falling off the board.
Mark went all out with his 4th of July video, which showed him sporting a white button-up shirt under a long-sleeved black suit. He also donned a pair of long black tailored pants, a matching bow tie and silver chain necklace. Embracing his curly brown hair, he covered his eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.
Additionally, the businessman, who became the world's youngest self-made billionaire at age 23 back in 2008, played Bruce Springsteen's song titled "Born in the U.S.A." in the background. Along with the clip, he wrote in the caption of the post, "Happy birthday, America!"
While Elon mocked Mark over the footage, other people showered the latter with praise. One in particular gushed, "Bro is the coolest billionaire CEO ever." Similarly, another chimed in, "No back up tux required! Master class." A third exclaimed, "Yep, that's our genius." A fourth marveled, "Love the bow tie + chain combo."
