Some online users suggested that the 'Saturday Night Live' alum clearly had not learned his lesson when it came to joking about people’s wives following the infamous Oscar slap.

AceShowbiz - Chris Rock apparently didn't learn his lesson. The comedian came under fire after mentioning Kevin Hart's wife and kids in a Netflix comedy special.

The special was taped when Kevin was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor back in March. When Chris took the stage, he initially commented on the former's radiant smile, saying, "Look at him. Look at that smile. Got that second wife happiness."

The audience erupted in laughter, prompting Chris to continue, "Ain't nothing like that second wife happiness. 'It's like we didn't struggle at all.' " Kevin's current wife, Eniko Hart, beamed as she held their 3-year-old daughter, Kaori Hart.

As for Kevin, he hardly contained himself in his seat. His older children, daughter Heaven, 19, and son Hendrix, 16, however, seemed less amused by Chris' remark.

Still, the "Saturday Night Live" alum pressed on making more jokes. He wrapped up his set by telling his pal, "Enjoy your new wife and kids, you bastard."

Upon watching the comedy special, many online users were quick to put Chris on blast. One in particular opined, "His older kids didn't appreciate that dig at their mom. That wasn't cool and for Kevin to laugh like that in front of them was wild."

Another argued, "Chris better leave them wife jokes alone." A third chimed in, "So I guess Chris ain't learn how to stop talking about peoples wives [crying laughing emoji] where is [Will Smith] when we need him."

Will famously slapped Chris onstage at the 2022 Academy Awards. It happened after the comic poked fun at Jada Pinkett Smith's hair.
