AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton is reportedly suffering from some effects while undergoing treatments for her cancer. According to a new report, among the grueling effects that the Princess of Wales has to bear are exhaustion and nausea.

"Kate and William are going through hell behind palace walls," a high-level royal courtier told National Enquirer, via Radar Online. The intensive treatments reportedly started to take a "terrible toll" on Kate, who is also dealing with hair and weight loss.

The source also claimed that the mom is going through "great lengths to hide" the discomfort she has been feeling, "especially from the children." The informant further noted that "unfortunately, it's becoming more and more difficult."

Kate opened up about her cancer diagnosis following an abdominal surger in a video shared in March. In the video, the British princess admitted that she and Prince William have been doing everything they can to process and manage the situation privately for the sake of their young family.

"This of course came as a huge shock," she stated. "It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louie in a way that's appropriate for them and to reassure them that I'm going to be okay. I said to Them, I am well, and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal."

She also thanked the Prince of Wales for his unwavering support, noting, "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort." Concluding her message, she asked for privacy for her family while she completes her treatment. She also expressed her intention to return to public duties when she is able but stressed that her focus for now is on making a full recovery.

Amid Kate's journey to recovery, it was said that William has been trying to be there for her as her support system. "He's trying to be [Kate's] rock while also taking care of the kids and still performing official duties. This is uncharted territory for them both," a source previously revealed. "He's been cutting back on travel and doing more remote engagements, making it clear Kate and the children come first."
