The 'My Type' hitmaker has publicly confronted Warner Bros. Records, urging them to 'approve the budget' for her debut studio album, which has been in the works for a long time.

AceShowbiz - Grammy-nominated rapper Saweetie is expressing her frustration towards her record label, Warner Bros. Records. The artist recently took to social media to confront the label, claiming they are holding up the release of her long-awaited debut album due to not approving the allocated budget.

This comes after the label faced similar criticism from Saweetie regarding the premature release of her collaboration with Doja Cat, "Best Friend." The rapper accused Warner Bros. Records of prioritizing profit over artistry, claiming they released the "wrong version" of the track without her permission.

"I am extremely disappointed in my label WBR for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about," Saweetie tweeted. "I feel disrespected."

Saweetie's album, "Pretty B*tch Music", has been in the works for nearly three years since its initial release date. The project will mark the rapper's first full-length album since signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2018.

Despite dropping singles and EPs, including Billboard-charting hits "My Type" and "Best Friend," Saweetie has admitted to feeling insecure as an artist and overthinking her creative process, which has led to delays in her album's release.

Despite her challenges, Saweetie remains hopeful that her album is close to being completed. Judging by her recent comments towards Warner Bros. Records, it appears the time for its release may be coming sooner than later.
