The photos captured precious moments, including the excited parents with Jack in his stroller outside the hospital. MacKinnon smiled as she held Jack close to her chest while she was still in her hospital bed. Adam was also seen beside MacKinnon's bed, beaming with pride as a new father.
"Welcome to the planet, Jack Mackinnon Doleac," the couple wrote in the caption. "3/23/24, 9 lbs, 6 oz. We already love you more than we even knew we could."
In an interview with PEOPLE in January, the couple revealed the news of their pregnancy. Adam shared that they were expecting a boy and expressed their excitement about the memories they would create together. "I think we are most excited just becoming parents at all! It is a dream we have both always had, and it is wild to think it's only a matter of weeks away," he said.
During the chat, they said that they had envisioned the possibility of bringing their future family on the road as they continued to pursue music. "We talk about it all the time. The music industry is tough and unpredictable and anything but easy, but it's definitely our dream to be able to bring a separate bus out and tour the country with our little family," Adam explained.
