Tom DeLonge 'fell to [his] knee' during a live performance in Paraguay with bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker because of the intense heat at the venue.

AceShowbiz - Blink-182 guitarist and singer Tom DeLonge experienced a harrowing incident during a concert in Paraguay earlier this week. While performing, DeLonge succumbed to heat stroke, causing him to become sick and briefly leave the stage.

"This was about 1 min before heat stroke hit," DeLonge wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself backstage with his head hanging down. "Fell to my knees, everything went blurry, then wobbled to the side of the stage and vomited for a bit."

The incident occurred near the end of the band's set, during the 11th song, "More Than You Know." Fan footage shows DeLonge hunched over near the stage before exiting.

Despite the setback, the show continued with DeLonge's bandmates, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, stepping in to cover for him. Hoppus requested that Barker perform a drum solo to fill the time while DeLonge recovered.

Within minutes, DeLonge returned and the band resumed the set with "Happy Holidays, You Bastard" played at a frenetic pace. They proceeded to perform an additional 16 songs before concluding the show.

DeLonge expressed both gratitude for his bandmates' support and determination to complete the performance, "Man, this was not something I've ever felt before. 95 Degrees at a 11pm on stage. But… I made it back and finished the show. Cause that's what Navy Seals do..."

The band is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil on Friday and then embark on a series of gigs in Mexico. They will return to the United States on June 30 for a show at the Kia Center in Orlando.
