Michael Keaton is back as the titular character, who is accidentally reawakened by Ortega's Astrid Deetz, much to the horror of her mother, Winona Ryder's Lydia.

AceShowbiz - "The juice is loose" in the first teaser trailer for Tim Burton's long-awaited sequel, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice". Courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures, the sneak peek is set in a moody tone much like the original film.

Harry Belafonte's calypso classic "Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)" appropriately accompanies the scenes that see a funeral and Jenna Ortega's Astrid Deetz riding a bicycle through town much like her mother did in the first film.

Astrid is later seen going to the attic of the house and finding a model town covered with plastic. Unbeknownst to her, once she unveils the model town, she unleashes Michael Keaton's dastardly demon Beetlejuice. "The juice is loose!" he says, much to the horror of Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz.

"Beetlejuice" is coming more than three decades since the original film was released. According to the official synopsis, "After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem."

The trailer also features Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz and Justin Theroux as Rory. Monica Bellucci returns as Beetlejuice's wife, Willem Dafoe stars as a ghost detective who, in life, was a B movie action star, Burn Gorman portrays a reverend in Winter River, with Arthur Conti and Filipe Cates being cast in undisclosed roles.

Burton is back as director for the sequel, which is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, based on a story by Gough, Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith. The fantasy horror comedy film is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on September 6.
