The 'Hold It Against Me' songstress posts and deletes a sweet message honoring the 'All for You' hitmaker, who was infamously involved in a Super Bowl fiasco with the former NSYNC member in 2004.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has seemingly thrown a subtle shade at her ex Justin Timberlake amid their ongoing feud. The so-called Princess of Pop has posted and deleted a sweet message in which she paid tribute to Janet Jackson, who was famously involved in a Super Bowl fiasco with the former NSYNC member back in 2004.

On Sunday, February 25, the 42-year-old singer shared the cover of Janet's 1993 album "Janet". She praised the R&B diva in the caption, writing, "Thank you to this beautiful lady for keeping my dreams and heart alive ... she's always been the deepest and brightest woman at the same time."

"She went through so much but I feel she is someone I will look up to for the rest of my live," Britney added, seemingly referring to the Super Bowl incident. "Thank you for your music and your divine way of untangling intelligence to a far more clear view than anyone could ever imagine."

The post has since been deleted from Britney's Instagram page, but a screenshot of it has circulated online.

Britney Spears' IG Post

Britney Spears praised Janet Jackson in a since-deleted Instagram post amid feud with Justin Timberlake.

Justin apologized to both Britney and Janet in 2021, saying, "I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right." He added, "I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed."

Janet did not seem to hold a grudge against Justin. In her 2022 documentary, she said, "It was an accident that should not have happened," referring to the Halftime Show controversy. "But everyone is looking for someone to blame and that's gotta stop. Justin and I are very good friends and we will always be good friends."

Justin, meanwhile, recently came under fire after Britney revealed details of their past relationship in her 2023 memoir "The Woman in Me". She apologized to him earlier this month, writing on Instagram, "I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…(sic)."

That, however, changed after Justin seemingly took a jab at his former girlfriend during his performance at Madison Square Garden on January 30. "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody," he boldly said on stage, seemingly taking back his apology to the "Lucky" songstress.

Britney later seemed to clap back at Justin, writing on February 1, "Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets !!!" She went on mocking him as adding, "Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I'm not sorry !!!"
