AceShowbiz - Nia Long and Colman Domingo have been spotted for the first time on the set of an upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. The two renowned stars were filming "Michael" in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 7, giving first look at the "Boyz n the Hood" actress and the "Rustin" actor as the King of Pop's parents.

In the leaked set images, both Long and Domingo were dressing in characters as Katherine and Joe Jackson respectively while they had a conversation in between takes. They were flanked by some crew members who held umbrellas to shield them from the sunlight.

For the shooting, Long rocked a nude sweater over a floral print midi dress. She sported short hair styled in voluminous waves to copy the Jackson matriarch's looks. She added dark red lipstick and a gold ring on that finger to symbolize Katherine's marriage to Joe.

Meanwhile, Domingo wore a white T-shirt underneath a brown long-sleeve shirt and pants in matching color. He also rocked Afro hair and thin mustache, similar to Joe's iconic features, as he walked side by side with his co-star.

Long and Domingo star in "Michael" along with Jaafar Jackson, who has been cast as the title character. Meanwhile, 9-year-old Juliano Krue Valdi, who is a big fan of the "Thriller" singer, is set to play a young version of the late singer. Recently, it was confirmed that Miles Teller has joined the cast as MJ's attorney John Branca.

Antoine Fuqua is directing the pic, which promises to "bring audiences a riveting and honest portrayal of the brilliant yet complicated man who became the King of Pop. The film presents his triumphs and tragedies on an epic, cinematic scale - from his human side and personal struggles to his undeniable creative genius, exemplified by his most iconic performances. As never before, audiences will experience an inside look into one of the most influential, trailblazing artists the world has ever known."

It is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on April 18, 2025.
