After a video of her looking upset for losing the Best Country Album award to Lainey Wilson went viral, the 30-year-old addresses the matter on her Instagram account.

AceShowbiz - Kelsea Ballerini clarified her reaction after she failed to take home the Best Country Album award at the 2024 Grammy Awards. After a video of her looking upset went viral, the 30-year-old addressed the matter on her Instagram account.

"Ohhhh yall," she wrote in an Instagram Story on her Monday, February 5. Kelsea, who lost the prize to Lainey Wilson, added, "You can be bummed for your loss and happy for somebody else's win at the same time."

The country star, who was nominated for the category for her album "Rolling Up the Welcome Mat" continued, "Two things can be true and both hold valid and valuable space. The face reading and reaction analysis is unnecessary and hurtful to everyone." She added, "A woman's win is a team win. Write about that instead?"

Lainey was announced as the winner of Best Country Album for "Bell Bottom Country", marking her first-ever Grammy. Among the nominees were Brothers Osbourne ("Brothers Osbourne"), Tyler Childers ("Rustin' in the Rain") and Zach Bryan ("Zach Bryan").

In her speech, Lainey said, "This is absolutely wild, ya'll. This is my very first Grammys." The Baskin native added, “I am from a farming community in Northeast Louisiana. A little town of 200 people. I'm a fifth generation farmer's daughter and I would consider myself a farmer too. And everyone I surround myself with, I think they're farmers too."

“But they're story farmers,” the "Yellowstone" actress continued. "It's about getting up every single day and planting those seeds and watering 'em and watching 'em grow. And sometimes when you find the right farming community you can have the harvest of the lifetime. And I truly believe that and I think exactly what this is tonight."

She concluded, "God bless every single one of y'all. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you so much to the Recording Academy, and thank you to my fans. I love y'all so much."
