AceShowbiz - Bill Maher opens up about the canceled podcast interview with Kanye West. The TV personality revealed why he decided to scrap an episode featuring his 2-hour interview with Ye on his "Club Random" podcast.

"I thought it was going to be a learning moment." Bill revealed on a Monday, February 5 episode of "TMZ Investigates" centered on the embattled rapper titled "Unhinged but Unstoppable". "We were here for two hours. By the way, we had an amazing, fun time."

Bill continued, "He's a very charming antisemite. And by the way, he's not the only one in America who feels that way. It's not like the Jews are universally loved except for Kanye West."

Of the "Famous" spitter, Bill further shared, "The problem, I think, is that he appeals mostly - of course he's a rock star - to young people. They don't know much and they surely don't know much about the Middle East or Jews. So the combination of Kanye out there - I feel like he was helpful for spreading the fertilizer, and I do mean fertilizer, for this idea that Israel and the Jews are the worst people in the world."

TMZ founder Harvey Levin then pointed out, "A lot of people were thinking what he was thinking, but in Kanye's case, the fact that he's saying it out loud gives other people permission to say it too, right?" Bill agreed, saying. "Yes, exactly. That's why I wouldn't air that episode, because I'm not going to contribute to this."

In other news related to Ye, he recently took to his Instagram account to rant about not being able to perform. Likening himself to Elvis Presley, he said, "I HAVE NOT BEEN ALLOWED TO PERFORM IN A YEAR. FEELS LIKE THE ELVIS PRESLEY MOVIE," and left the caption blank. He seemingly was making a reference to Elvis being banned from gigs due to his provocative performances.
