AceShowbiz - 50 Cent has broken his silence on his weight loss. After showing off his slimmed-down look and garnering mixed responses to it, the actor portraying Kanan Stark on "Power" revealed that he has lost 40 pounds.

On Wednesday, January 24, the 48-year-old hip-hop artist made use of his Instagram account to upload a new video, wherein he talked about his thinner appearance. In the clip, he shared, "I was 253 pounds and I came down to 210 right now, right? How you feel about it? You tell me how you feel about it later, right?"

In the same footage, 50 Cent, who is also known as Fif, responded to speculations suggesting that he has been consuming Ozempic, a type II Diabetes drug that has been used by some celebrities to lose weight. He stated, "You wanna talk about weight loss? I was in the gym, I was working the f**k out, man. And they say it's Ozempic? I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do. You seen me on tour."

After releasing the clip, many Instagram users voiced their thoughts on Fif. In the comments section of the post, one in particular wrote, "50 was on tour for 6 months straight running up and down stairs, running backstage and levitating in the air of course he was going to lose a lot of weight. He's still fine."

Similarly, another joined in, "50 looks fine. He's not a young man. He still looks good for his age. Ppl here to chill with the weight loss talk." Meanwhile, a third commented on how Fif explained different topics in the video, "The way he switched topics tho. @50cent is funny as heck! Lol he don't take life to seriously but he be speaking facts."

The statement came a few days after Fif surprised the public with his slimmed-down appearance. On Sunday, January 21, he let out via Instagram a series of pictures featuring him looking thinner than usual in his semi-formal ensemble. He quickly generated mixed responses from many Instagram users. While some of them were worried if he was sick, others accused him of using Ozempic to lose weight.
