The 'Big Momma's House' actor got viewers concerned about his health after he had a reunion with his 'Martin' co-stars and presented an award at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

AceShowbiz - Martin Lawrence is in good health despite fans' concern following his appearance at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards. The comedian got people worried about his well-being after he appeared to slur his words during the Monday, January 15 telecast.

Fans, however, can now rest assured that the actor is fine. Sources allegedly with direct knowledge tell TMZ that there's nothing to worry about the 58-year-old's health. He is said to be in tip-top shape as he has been keeping himself busy these days.

He recently just finished filming "Bad Boys 4", in which he returns alongside Will Smith. He is also scheduled to hit the road this summer for his latest comedy tour. Moreover, the sources tease that Martin has got a couple professional surprises coming for fans in the next few weeks.

Martin got people concerned after he appeared to slur his words and took long pauses during a "Martin" reunion with his former co-stars. About 40 minutes into the broadcast, he appeared on stage with Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold and Carl Anthony Payne II for a skit, which then transitioned into presenting an award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

When the "Big Momma's House 2" star stepped forward to introduce the category, he seemingly had trouble reading from the teleprompter, prompting viewers to jump to social media to begin speculating about his health. "Ummm, Is Martin Lawrence okay? Because he did not look good here at all," one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter, along with a clip of Martin's appearance at the ceremony.

The sources now blame technical issue for his bizarre appearance. According to the informants, during Martin's presenting gig, there was a technical glitch with the teleprompter that was caused by late changes to the script.

Other than that issue, Martin reportedly had so much fun getting together with his former castmates from the sitcom, which aired on FOX from 1992 to 1997.
