AceShowbiz - Jason Momoa has set the record straight on his previous comment. After making headlines by saying he doesn't have a home, the "Aquaman" actor clarified that he's "just houseless," not "homeless."
"I'm just houseless. I'm not homeless," the 44-year-old quipped when speaking to PEOPLE at an event for the documentary Common Ground at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on Thursday night. "I have a nice trailer,... Everyone's like, 'Jason Momoa's homeless.' I'm like, 'Relax. I got a f**king sleeping bag.' "
Jason's clarification came after he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he currently doesn't have a permanent residence because he's working on so many different projects in different locations around the world. "I don't even have a home right now," he told the publication.
"I live on the road," the Hawaii-born hunk continued explaining. "So, I'm [currently] down to New Zealand to start 'Minecraft'. I hope everyone loves it."
Jason's latest project, "On the Roam", sees him travel around the U.S. to visit different craftsmen, who explain how various items, including century-old bikes and choppers, are made. And he has shocked some local people by appearing in their towns and cities to shoot the docuseries.
"I'm always in these weird places. You're gonna find me on the road. It happens all the time. They're like, 'What the hell are you doing in our hometown?' " the ex-husband of Lisa Bonet shared. "I love the idea of just being with everyday people and doing my craft, which is filming, and then showing them. And so, I think through doing that for so long, I got to be curious about it."
