AceShowbiz - Alexis Bellino fired back at Vicki Gunvalson for her recent comment on her romance with John Janssen. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" expressed her disappointment in Vicki in an Instagram post on Thursday, December 7.
Feeling betrayed, Alexis wrote on Instagram Stories, "Very disappointing to see this from someone I considered a friend. I know things can't be so bad at Coto Insurance that you resort to grab quick cash from a click bait article trashing me."
"Sad that you seem to forget there are two sides to every story, and unfortunately 100% of your assumptions are totally false @vickigunvalson," she continued. Concluding her message, she wished her former co-star, "Happy Holidays!"
Alexis' post was in response to Vicki's recent interview with Celebuzz. Slamming the former Fox 5 correspondent's budding romance with Shannon Beador's ex, Vicki labeled their relationship "ridiculous and thirsty." She added, "For me to see that Alexis - someone I actually had some respect for - would go so low as to date Shannon's ex? It's gross. It's low, and it's not being a girl's girl."
Vicki also said the new couple "reeks of desperation to return to the show as [Alexis] probably is hoping this will stir the pot and secure her spot." She later wondered why John "would want to date another 'Housewife,' " asking, "Is he also fame-hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer!"
Vicki additionally weighed in on a picture of the pair spending some time at one of Shannon's favorite restaurants, The Quiet Woman. "What Alexis is doing is downright gross," she divulged. "You know how bad this would hurt [Shannon], and you did it anyways. What happened to being religious and righteous? None of this speaks to that. Sad to say I'm disappointed in both of them."
In a separate interview, Vicki admitted that she found it "weird" that they're dating. "[Shannon's] good. She's gonna be better off," the OG of the OC said of her pal. "He's not good for her. Too much drinking all night long. He needs to go where he needs to go, and she needs to go where she needs to go."
