Comedian Rip Micheals Struggles to Breathe in Video as His Heart Function Drops to 17 Percent

The 'Wild 'n Out' star shares the clip filmed in the hospital where he is currently admitted with a serious heart condition which forced him to cancel the live taping of his Apollo show.

AceShowbiz - Rip Micheals needs prayers as he has been hospitalized in New York City with a serious heart condition. The comedian has posted a concerning video showing him struggling to breathe as he addressed the cancellation of his Apollo show.

The "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'n Out" star was scheduled to perform during a live taping of comedy special "Did I Go Too Far?" at the Apollo Theater on Sunday, November 12. However, he was forced to cancel his performance due to his medical issue.

Extending his apology to his fans who bought the tickets, Rip posted a video on his Instagram page on Tuesday. Lying in hospital bed with a nasal cannula attached to his nose, he said in between his short breaths, "Thank you to everybody who bought tickets. I promise you as soon as I get out of here, we'll have a great show. Thank you for all the support."

In the caption, Rip reiterated, "My deepest apologies to everyone who bought tickets to the live taping at Apollo!" He then explained that his heart "is only functioning at 17 percent" since he suffered a heart attack.

"My heart since the attack is only functioning at 17 percent & i am currently in CCU with good ppl in heart failure team!" the caption continued to read. "I thank each every person for all the prayers & get well wishes & your understanding & my family does too!"

Rip was soon showered with supportive messages in the comments section. One of them was from Nick Cannon who wrote, "You are a titan and force of nature, always have been, Take all the time you need and Rest strong King. We all collectively send you healing energy and prayers from the highest frequency of our souls. Standing in agreement for your speedy and full recovery my brother. Love you sincerely!"

Another sent their prayer for the 41-year-old comedian, "Take care your health first my brother Love and praying for your speedy recover." Another comment read, "you got this champ! Because GOD said so."
