AceShowbiz - Timothee Chalamet is set to host the next episode of "Saturday Night Live". The actor will be returning to Studio 8H for the December 11 episode ahead of the premiere of his movie "Wonka".

"Wonka" is set to open on December 8, as his other flick "Dune: Part Two" is pushed from its November date to March 2024 release due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. It remains unknown if Timothee will be allowed to promote the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" story-based movie unless the the actors' union strike is over by November 11.

Joining Timothee in the upcoming episode is boygenius, who will serve as the musical guest. The American indie supergroup includes American singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus.

Fans may expect Timothee to address his romance with Kylie Jenner when he hosts the forthcoming episode. However, the "Call Me by Your Name" actor recently claimed in an interview that he planned to stay private amid their romance.

"I can't say that this stuff doesn't matter," Timothee weighed in on celebrity culture in a wide-ranging GQ interview published on October 17. He went on to say, "Because my intense fandom has led me to where I am."

Writer Daniel Riley then coyly referenced the actor's romantic relationship with Kylie by asking if he "really wanted to be left alone he might not spend time with one of the four most followed people on Instagram." To that, the "Dune" star responded with a laugh.

"This reminds me of that recent 'South Park' episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour," he added, referring to the animated show's February episode in which it mocks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. "Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you're trying to live a private life."

Prior to Timothee's episode, NBC will air a repeat of the season premiere hosted by Pete Davidson featuring Ice Spice as the musical guest. "Mr. Nice Guy" stand-up comic Nate Bargatze hosted the October 28 episode with musical guest Foo Fighters.
