Nearly one month after crashing her car, the 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star states that she is currently 'focusing on getting healthy' and vows to be 'open, honest and authentic' about her legal problem.

AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador has broken her silence on her legal problem. Nearly one month after being arrested for DUI alcohol as well as hit-and-run following a car crash, the star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" opened up about the matter for the first time via social media.
On Tuesday, October 17, the 59-year-old reality TV star uploaded a video via Instagram to discuss the arrest and share an update on her health with her fans. In the clip, she stated, "I know it's been awhile since I posted and there's been a lot of talk about what happened recently. But unfortunately right now, I'm not in the position to comment."
Though so, Shannon went on to vow, "But there will be a time when I can, and I intend to be open, honest, and authentic." She further shared, "Right now, I'm focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself, and walking Archie."
In the video, the Bravolebrity was filming herself while walking her dog Archie. Near the end of the footage, she panned the camera to the white-furred pooch, which appeared in good spirits during the walk on the sunny day. As for the star, she looked stunning with full glam on her face.
On September 16, Shannon smashed her car into a property in Newport Beach, California. She was driving under the influence of alcohol and had her dog Archie in the car. In CCTV footage obtained by TMZ, she was documented driving at a high speed before the crash. In the clip, she was then seen driving away from the damaged building.
According to police sources, Shannon attempted to get away from the mess by pretending that she was walking Archie after she parked her car in the middle of the street. A few hours later, she was arrested for DUI alcohol as well as hit-and-run before she was "cited and released without bond."
Due to the accident, one of Shannon's arms was reportedly injured, requiring her to wear a cast as seen in several photos making their rounds online. In addition, she apparently had a bruise on her face, which she attempted to cover during several outings with her former partner John Janssen.
