AceShowbiz - Doja Cat had a lot to show off in her latest photoshoot. The "You Right" songstress, who has been known for consistently pushing fashion boundaries, freed the nipples for V Magazine's Fall Preview 2023 issue.

Photographed by Hedi Slimane, the 27-year-old put her nipples on display underneath a sleeveless mesh dress that also covered her thong. The Grammy-winning artist paired the black net fabric with chain necklaces and pendants that included a large cross.

While the photos for the cover story show a "more stripped-down, more rock-and-roll Doja Cat," the musician told the magazine that she doesn't actually "consider myself a rock star." She added, "I have made pop music. I'm currently making rap, soul, and R&B music with jazz elements."

"This is a representation of how I feel," Doja continued. "When I wear black, when I wear metal, or very scantily clad outfits…it's all a representation of how angry, liberated, and sexual I am."

During the conversation, Doja also opened up about how her upcoming music will differ from the previous one. "I have thrown fits my whole career because I have been making music that didn't allow me to have a mental release," she claimed. "I have been making music that is palatable, marketable, and sellable, that has allowed me to be where I am. Now I am making music that allows me to express the way I feel about the world around me."

The "Woman" hitmaker went on to note, "These upcoming projects are going to be very different compared to everything I have done and I am excited about that." She also stressed that she doesn't care "if people are not."
