On the song, which arrived on Friday, July 14, the 'Moonwalking in Calabasas' rapper also appears to address the moment when Halle was holding hands with her co-star Jonah Hauer-King during the U.K. premiere of 'The Little Mermaid'.

AceShowbiz - DDG admits to being "insecure" about Halle Bailey's on-screen relationships in a new song. The rapper makes the confession on a single called "Famous", but instead of getting sympathy from fans, he got dragged by people online.

"I been so insecure that I be thinkin' you really be f**kin' n***as you in movies with/ But on the internet, I just be coolin' it, but in my head, a n***a really losin' it," the 25-year-old raps on the tune, which arrived on Friday, July 14. "Gotta be payin' good 'cause you keep doin' it, I might just tweet somethin' just to ruin it/ I got a platform, I'm abusin' it."

"It's a couple things about your job I wanna know/ When you shoot your movie, do these n****as turn you on?/ the emcee, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., continues. "When you leave the set, do y'all still text each other phone?/ Just because they filmin' it, it don't mean that it ain't wrong."

DDG also appears to address the moment when Halle was holding hands with her co-star Jonah Hauer-King during the U.K. premiere of "The Little Mermaid". He rhymes, "Why is y'all holdin' hands in the photo?/ You know I'm insecure, that's a no-no."

The lyrics didn't sit well with many online users. One person in particular argued, "He is trying to ruin her moment so bad ughhhh." Another opined, "He really hates that it her blowing up and not him. This why they tell women not to date down. This what you end up with."

The criticism continued with an individual writing, "Single is the only option, the embarrassment ain't worth it." A different person rhetorically asked, "How you pursue an actress and then be mad when she be acting?" One other user, meanwhile, suggested, "Halle...we've been asking you for a while now...please run."

Earlier this year, DDG and Halle sparked split rumors as they unfollowed each other on Instagram and he deleted her pictures from his page. He was also accused of cheating on her. However, the one-half of Chloe X Halle defended her beau and they even put on a united front at the premiere of her Disney movie in late April.
