AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon goes above and beyond to be the best father to his 12 children. When appearing in a recent episode of "The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman", the comedian said he's pursuing a degree in child psychology.

"I was already going to get a master's in psychology and a Ph.D. in divinity," the 42-year-old divulged. "Then I shifted - instead of just a master's in psychology, now it's more in child psychology."

"The presence of a father and how much will they need you and the Freudian aspect of reverting back to your childhood trauma, or the lack thereof. Nature vs nurture," he added. "These are conversations I have several times every single day."

Dr. Laura then asked, "With who? ... With naysayers or with the mamas?" In response, Nick replied, "Nah, not naysayers. But I'm like, I'm living, whether in therapy on my own or even just wanting to make sure that every single child has what they need, developmentally. And emotionally. I'm studying the brain and at what point does sensory matter."

"The Masked Singer" host also reflected on his past of having children with different women and the potential effects on his kids' lives. "I no longer want to be careless," he declared. "I want to be a lot more intentional with life and even especially when dealing with creating life because I love all my children, but I probably wasn't intentional. I was like, 'Oh if it happens, amazing, God's miracles.' "

Nick shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden, six, Powerful Queen, two, and eight-month-old Rise with Brittany Bell; two-year-old twins Zion and Zillion, and seven-month-old Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary, 11 months, with Bre Tiesi; Onyx, nine months, with LaNisha Cole; and Halo, six months, and the late Zen with Alyssa Scott.
