AceShowbiz - An act earned a Golden Buzzer in the new episode of "America's Got Talent". Airing on Tuesday, June 20, the episode saw more acts performing in front of judges Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.
Pole dancer and contortionist El Invertebrado from the Dominican Republic kicked off the night. With scary makeup, he further shocked the judges when he crawled up the pole with one foot behind his head. "It was horrific and beautiful at the same time," Sofia commented. El Invertebrado got four yes from the judges.
Following it up was singing group Freedom Singers from Skid Row. They impressed the room with their powerful and inspiring performance. "You have a powerful voice and powerful message," Heidi raved. Simon dubbed the performance "brilliant." The Freedom Singers moved to the next round.
Acrobatic dance squad Warrior Squad from India was up next, stunning the judges with their electrifying and jaw-dropping performance. "I am blown away by this act. It was like a machine. Every single part had to work together. It was unbelievable," Simon said of the group. Warrior Squad was sent to the next round.
Singer-songwriter Dani Kerr later took the stage to sing, before Simon stopped her midway. Pointing out that Dani was so nervous, the judge asked her to sing her second song. Dani opted to sing her original song "November" and she nailed it. Howie compared Dani to Stevie Nicks, while Simon praised Dani for being a "great writer." Dani stays in the competition.
Dancer Eseniia Mikheeva, who is only 7 years old, followed it up. The judges loved her energy on the stage and wanted to see more from her in the next round.
Consisting of 65 dancers, dance group Murmuration from France later hit the stage to offer a never-before-seen performance. Heidi loved that they were all "amazingly in sync." Howie called the dance crew "hypnotic" and decided to give them his Golden Buzzer.
Comedian Maureen Langan then brought laughter to the room. Heidi said she has "really good timing," while Howie told Maureen that she has "everything" in her arsenal to become a great comedian.
The next performer was magician Anna Deguzman, who wowed everyone with her amazing card tricks and even surprised herself during her routine. "It was the most adorable, fun, magical thing I have seen so far this season," Howie commented.
Nina Sampaio from Brazil later sang and solved a Rubix cube. Howie loved her act, calling it "so original." Rounding out the night, Thomas Vu hoped to move to the next round with his performance, which also involved Rubix cube. He lit himself on fire while solving it. He did move to the next round.
