Ray Lewis III, who was a standout high school football player in Florida and played at Miami, Coastal Carolina as well as Virginia Union, died after he turned 28 on June 5.

AceShowbiz - Ray Lewis has suffered a tragic loss. The NFL legend's son, Ray Lewis III, sadly passed away at the age 28 just a few weeks after he celebrated his 28th birthday.
Revealing the devastating news was Ray III's younger brother, Rahsaan Lewis. On Thursday, June 15, Rahsaan shared an old photo of his late sibling on Instagram Story and wrote, "Really can't believe I'm evening typings this but RIP big brother. A true angel. I pray you're at peace now because I know how much you [were] really hurting."
"I don't and I won't ever have the words man, 'cause this pain right here... I love you, I love you, I love you," he added. "your niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I'll make you smile and proud."
Also offering tribute to Ray II was rapper Yung Shad. He penned in his own post, "RIP my big brother. Ain't really know words for this s----, just hope [you're] at peace now. I know you [were] hurting." He added, "Dawn dawg this s**t can't be real... You put a smile on everybody's face."
Ray III was a standout high school football player in Florida and played at Miami, Coastal Carolina as well as Virginia Union. Following his passing, Virginia Union associate head coach Diego Ryland told TMZ Sports, "Great young man and a better teammate. The entire Virginia Union University community is praying for the family as they deal with the loss of Ray."
Details surrounding Ray III's death remain to be seen. His father also has yet to issue a statement.
