AceShowbiz - One Taylor Swift fan went above and beyond to attend her concert. A Nashville resident named Davis Perrigo applied as one of the security guards for "The Eras Tour" after he was unable to secure tickets.
In a video shared on TikTok, Davis could be seen standing behind the stage barrier while singing along to Taylor's "Style" at Nissan Stadium. Davis worked not only for one day though since the singer performed three dates at the venue.
"Friday night I was next to the stage, and then Saturday night, I had almost a better view," Davis told News Channel 5. "I actually got reprimanded by Taylor's security, saying that I was going too hard and I needed to take it down a notch."
Davis, who works as an accountant by day, said he proudly showed footage of himself at the concerts to his co-workers. "My wife jokes that I sing Taylor Swift songs with such passion for someone who's never been broken up with," he shared. "I showed someone at work, like, 'Hey, this video got 10,000 views,' and then by that night, it was over one million. I was like, 'OMG, this is out of control.' "
While Davis seemed to have such a great experience during "The Eras Show", things went the opposite to a fan named Kelly Inglis Kelly. Kelly got harassed by a security guard when attending Taylor's show at the Lincoln Financial Field stadium in Philadelphia on May 13.
"I was just dancing, and this security guard was just crazy, yelling at us... He didn't want us to take photos in front of the stage. He was being very strict," Kelly said when detailing the incident to DailyMail.com. "Every time he passed us we had to stand back because we were worried he would kick us out."
Luckily, Kelly found Taylor's support. The Grammy winner, who was performing "Bad Blood" when the ordeal happened, told the guard at that time, "She's fine... She wasn't doing anything. Hey, stop! Stop." The superstar also gave the said fan free tickets for May 14 show.
