AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford and his wife Calista Flockhart had to spend the night at the Cannes Film Festival separately. On Thursday, May 18, the couple made a rare appearance while attending the premiere of his own film "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" but they had to experience an awkward seating gaffe.

While inside the Palais des Festivals, Calista noticed that she was seated behind her husband. The actress, who is known for her former role as TV lawyer Ally McBeal, was seen sporting a weak smile, while Harrison received a big applause from the audience.

Upon learning the blunder, Harrison appeared to tell her unimpressed wife, "Look! You're right behind me." As Calisa looked less than thrilled over the seat the arrangement, he added, "Well, that's the way it is." She later was seen walking off to her seat.

The gaffe aside, Harrison had the best moment that night. During the screening event, Harrison was summoned to the stage by Cannes festival director Thierry Fremaux to receive a surprise Palme d'Or after a reel of his greatest roles.

"I'm very moved by this," Harrison said. "They say when you're about to die, you see your life flash before your eyes, and I just saw my life flash before my eyes. A great part of my life, but not all of my life. My life has been enabled by my lovely wife, who has supported my passion and my dreams, and I'm grateful."

"I love you, too. But I've got a movie you ought to see. It's right behind me. So let me get out of the way, and thank you again for this great honor," he went on to note.

The fifth and final "Indiana Jones" movie will feature the last time Harrison reprises his role as Indy. Director James Mangold said in a statement, "My legendary collaborators and I are very excited to share a brand new and final Indiana Jones adventure with you!"

Antonio Banderas stars as one of the villains, while John Rhys-Davies reprises his role as Sallah and Toby Jones joins the cast as Basil. It also features Mads Mikkelsen as Nazi Voller and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Indy's goddaughter Helena.

"Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" is set to open in U.S. theaters on June 30.
