Debuting their baby bumps when hitting the red carpet with their respective spouse, the former tennis ace wears a black Gucci gown while the model dons a skintight black dress.

AceShowbiz - Serena Williams and Karlie Kloss made huge announcements at the 2023 Met Gala. Hitting the red carpet separately with their respective spouse, both the former tennis ace and the model revealed that they are pregnant with baby No. 2.

Serena debuted her baby bump in a black Gucci gown with a plunging neckline and a white tulle skirt. Her dress also featured sheer sleeves as she completed the curve-hugging maternity look with a layered pearl necklace and matching headband.

"I'm feeling good. I can breathe. I can stop not hiding," the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion gushed on her way inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, joking about her big plans to "not drink."

She was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian, who opted for a classic black suit with a matching bow tie and a white shirt. He also sported shiny black shoes and trimmed beard.

Serena also shared the baby news via her Instagram page. "Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala," she wrote along with pictures of her and Alexis already getting dressed up for the fashion's biggest night.

Meanwhile, Karlie's budding belly was on display in a form-fitting black column dress that was accessorized by lengthy strands of pearls and similar beading around the waist. The model teamed up with LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson to honor Karl Lagerfeld's classic design.

Jonathan used velvet satin to create the floor-length gown that reimagined the late designer's Chanel dress from 1983. It featured a printed interpretation of the original design, according to a release. Karlie finished her look with a long-strand necklace and belt featuring the house's signature Anagram motif.

Inspired by the theme of this year's Met Gala, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty", Jonathan delved into The Met Costume Institute's own archives to reimagine a dress from Karl Lagerfeld's Spring Summer 1983 collection for Chanel through the blurred lens of the latest LOEWE runway collection.

Speaking to ET, Karlie explained why she chose the event to reveal her baby news. "This is the most important night in fashion, of course, and I'm honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long," she said. On how she kept it a secret until now, she shared, "Big winter coats!"

Posing on the red carpet with her husband Joshua Kushner, she added to Vogue, "I got a plus one don't shhh ... don't tell anybody," alluding to the Gala's famed no-guest policy.
