Kirsten Corley shares a cryptic quote that details the difference between getting old and growing up after the 'No Problem' rapper is caught dancing with a scantily-clad woman in Jamaica.

AceShowbiz - Chance The Rapper's wife has broken her silence after her husband was caught dancing "inappropriately" with another woman while in Jamaica. Kirsten Corley appeared to shade the musician as she shared a cryptic quote about getting older but not growing up.

On Tuesday, April 25, Kirsten took to her Instagram page to post a screenshot of quote from Maya Angelou. She highlighted some part of it that details the difference between getting old and growing up.

"Most people don't grow up. It's too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That's the truth of it," the highlighted quote read. "They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they marry, they have the nerve to have children, but they don't grow up. Not really."

"They get older. But to grow up costs the earth," it continued. "It means you take responsibility for the time you take up, for the space you occupy. It's serious business. And you find out what it costs us to love and to lose, to dare and to fail. And maybe even more, to succeed."

The Internet personality, who shares two daughters with Chance, wrote in the caption, "I hope one day, we all choose to grow up."

Kirsten's cryptic post arrived a week after Chance was seen dancing with a scantily-clad woman at Carnival 2023 in Jamaica. In a video shared by model Mela Mills who was dancing with the rapper, she was seen grinding on shirtless Chance as he leaned back and slapped her butt.

Chance, who married his longtime girlfriend Kirsten in March 2019, received backlash for his act, with many bringing up his marital status. "Ain't you married?" one person asked. Another commented, "He has no class."

After catching wind of the criticism, Mela came to Chance's defense. She reposted DJ Akademiks tweet that captioned the video with, "Chance the rapper said 'Ain't no mo Gospel album talmbout I Love my wife bih….' " She then wrote, "Y'all doing too much now," adding several crying emojis and a face with tears of joy emoji.
