AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor regrets making a profanity-laden comment about teachers on podcast. The singer/songwriter got apologetic in a TikTok video shared on Sunday, April 23 after saying "f**k teachers" during a discussion about mass shootings in schools across America.

"Teachers of TikTok and teachers of the world, I recently said 'F teachers' on the podcast and it's not how I feel," the Grammy Award winner began in the TikTok video. "I was fired up because we were talking about how sending your kid to school here in America is so horrific."

"I did not mean [to say that about] all teachers," the "Made You Look" hitmaker continued. "I love teachers, I fight for teachers. I think they have the hardest job and they are the most underpaid. They are the most unappreciated when they literally raise all of us. I don’t want to make excuses, I just want to [say] I am so sorry."

The 29-year-old star realized that she should be "more careful" with her words. "I am so sorry to any teachers I made feel bad," she added, "and I will remind myself that my words definitely could have a consequence and I will be more careful."

In a recent episode of her and husband Daryl Sabara's "Workin' On It" podcast, Meghan was joined by influencer Trisha Paytas to discuss the issue of mass shootings in schools across the country when the singer also confessed to worrying about teachers and potential bullies.

Meghan said that both Trisha and her sibling conveyed negative past experiences with educators, leading her to make the flippant remark. "F**k teachers, dude," she said during the discussion.

The episode, which aired on Wednesday, April 19, was focused on parenting as Trisha and her husband Moses Hacmon welcomed daughter Malibu in September 2022. Meanwhile, Meghan and her husband Daryl welcomed son Riley in February 2021 and are currently expecting their second child together.
