AceShowbiz - Britney Spears' Cabo vacation apparently wasn't all about having fun. Rumor has it that her longtime manager and pal Cade Hudson staged a "career intervention" during their trip to Mexico.

While the pop superstar's social media posts have been showing the fun times she had during the vacation, she reportedly had much more serious conversations with Cade about her future behind the scenes. Per Daily Mail's report, he made use of the getaway to convince her to "get back to what she loves to do."

The former talent agent reportedly believes that a return to the studio would help the embattled singer "get back to herself." A source told the news outlet, "Cade wants to see Britney get back to doing what she loves to do, as she is a talented artist. He knows that she is still passionate about this."

Cade reportedly told Britney that she "cannot throw in the towel yet' as far as her music career is concerned." The source spilled, "He wanted to have a career intervention and, at the same time, really help her to get back to herself. He told her she cannot throw in the towel yet and he has reminded her of who she really is."

Cade is reportedly "one of the only people in the world that Britney trusts" and as the source noted, "Their time together has been super special and relaxing and has been eye opening for her, to say the least."

"Working with Britney during her rise to fame has been one of Cade's proudest accomplishments in life. In the process, she became like family to him," the so-called insider shared.

Britney flew from Los Angeles to Mexico on March 28 amid rumors of marital troubles with Sam Asghari. At the time, she was seen without her wedding ring on when arriving at LAX Airport. On the same day, her husband was spotted ditching his own wedding band during a solo outing.

Sam, however, seemed to debunk the split speculation as he later posted a photo of himself on his Instagram Stories on March 30, with his wedding band clearly visible. His representative additionally claimed that the 29-year-old hunk simply took off his ring as he is filming a movie.

In the meantime, Britney has not addressed the rumors that their marriage is on the rocks as she continues her tropical vacation. On Wednesday, April 5, she posted a video of her dancing in front of a wall while still not wearing her wedding ring. "I was hot in my car … saw some pink graffiti and played !!!" she captioned the clip as she was drenched in sweat.
