A few weeks after confirming their romance, the 'You' actor and the celebrity hairdresser are alleged to have taken the next step in their relationship and shared it with friends.

AceShowbiz - Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton were likely to have moved fast in their relationship. Just weeks after they confirmed that they are romantically involved, the "You" actor and the celebrity hairdresser were reported to have taken the next step by getting engaged.
"They're not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged," a source told US Weekly. The source further detailed how the happy couple got engaged by saying, "They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together."
On how Luke and Chris' friends thought about their engagement, the source simply noted, "Friends think they are a great couple." The source went on to add, "Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship."
Making similar claims about Luke and Chris' engagement was a different source who spoke to PEOPLE. "Friends in their circle are definitely shocked at how quick it happened, but they're happy for them," the source spilled. "They seem like the real deal."
A third source, who claimed to be close to Chris, additionally informed PEOPLE, "Chris has been looking for something real for a long time." On how the hairstylist for Kim Kardashian felt about Lukas, the source gushed, "This has moved fast but he is dazzled by Lukas."
Around two weeks before the engagement rumors surfaced, Chris took to Instagram to share a series of photos capturing the moments he spent together with Lukas. They displayed the couple taking a selfie, swimming, skiing, and posing on a red carpet together.
In the caption of the post, Chris simply wrote, "Apple of my eye." Responding to Chris' social media post, Lucas wrote back to him in the comment section, "Apple to my ton."
Chris himself has opened up about his relationship with Lukas on "The Drew Barrymore Show". In the March 17 episode of the talk show, host Drew Barrymore asked him, "Anyone in your life we should know about?" He answered in return, "Actually, yeah. Listen, I'm very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special."
"Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special so," Chris further explained. At some point during the talk, he even picked and swung his host friend around as he excitedly yelled, "Cheers to love!"
