The 49-year-old TV personality first revealed her eye condition on March 24 by sharing a photo of herself lying down and noting that she 'scratched [her] cornea.'

AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling has promised herself that she won't take her health for granted. When opening up about how she developed an ulcer on her left eye, the "B90210" alum vowed that she won't sleep with contact lenses ever again.

When speaking to Jennie Garth on the latest installment of the "9021OMG" podcast, the 49-year-old first admitted, "It's my fault. I did this to myself." She added, "I have contacts but I wear daily ones. So at the end of the day, kids, whatever, I can make all the excuses I want. I don't take them out. I sleep in them. It's not healthy, and you're supposed to change them."

Tori, who was wearing an eye patch during the conversation, didn't reveal how long she wore her contacts before developing the infection. However, she said she's "been known to go maybe 20 days [wearing them]."

"I know you guys. It's shaming. I tell my eye doctor. I'm totally transparent," the wife of Dean McDermott added. She said her doctor told her that she was "lucky to get away with it," considering what she's done "with her eyes for this long."

"Yes, I got lucky this time," the mom of five acknowledged. "Not going to take it for granted. Once her eye heals, she noted that she would switch to monthly contact lenses.

Tori first revealed her eye condition on March 24. At that time, she shared a photo of herself lying down on Instagram Story and captioned it, "Thx to all the well wishes and concern. Everyone is asking if I scratched my cornea. It's actually an ulcer on my eye. Antibiotic drops and Dr said it will 'hopefully' heal in 7-10 days."
