While fans thought that Tamron Hall was being shady by showing Chyna's infamous bird-like picture while discussing her filler removal, the video vixen took to her social media account to defend the host.
"Grand rising. Yesterday when I met Mrs. Tamron Hall, I didn't feel like she was tearing me down at all," Chyna, who has announced her evolution back to Angela White, wrote on Friday, March 31. "The interview was heart felt, I honestly loved that she showed my growth from start to where I am today in life. The truth is the truth, and Im walking in my truth."
The Lashed by Blac Chyna founder continued, "Tamron simply showed the world that didn't see the before and after. To my new audience in my journey that I'm continuing. She understood the assignment. (Side note I want people to know that when I wore that outfit it was rebirth from Blac Chyna into Angela Renee White. The Phoenix, that rose from the ashes)." She also urged her fans to "PLEASE WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW to get clarity."
Chyna's post arrived after Internet users slammed Hall for being "shady" toward her guest in a new episode of her talk show, during which they discussed Chyna's decision to remove facial fillers. At one point, Hall showed a picture of Chyna donning her headline-making outfit at the 2023 Grammy Awards last month to show what the model looked like then compared to her look now.
"You can see the difference," Chyna pointed out. "Right here in the cheek area. You can see that smile? Right now, when I smile, you can see all of my teeth."
Upon watching the clip, fans thought that the Grammys picture wasn't necessary, and accused Hall of showing the picture only to embarrass Chyna. One commenter wrote on Instagram, "They could've chose another pic. It's so many others to choose from." Someone else called the host "so Passive Aggressive and Messy."
"This what they meant by Tamron Hall being shady," another user commented. One person added, "Tameron has been getting on my nerves lately! Why chose that unflattering picture of her to show your audience."
