The reality TV star/restaurateur reportedly will be returning to the reality TV show in its upcoming season 3 after he signs a lucrative deal for his return.

AceShowbiz - Scott Disick is coming back. If a new report is to be believed, the reality TV star/restaurateur will be returning to "The Kardashians" in its upcoming season 3 after he signs a lucrative deal with Hulu.

"Scott filmed for the show last week after inking a massive contract to be in the upcoming season," a source told Daily Mail on Wednesday, March 15. The ex-boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, however, was said to have some hesitation about returning to the show.

The report claimed that Scott was worried that he would be pitted against Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker. "He was initially against coming back because he didn't want to be the villain in Kourtney and Travis' storyline," the insider claimed.

In the first season of "The Kardashians", Scott was aggrieved over Kourtney pending wedding to the Blink-182 drummer. Meanwhile, he was only featured in one episode of "The Kardashians", prompting fans to think that that he quit the show entirely.

"He felt that he owed it to his fans and knew that they wanted to see him back on the show again, at least for one more season," the source continued. "Scott is in a very good place right now and he is a devoted father to his children with Kourtney."

Another source, however, revealed to The U.S. Sun that Scott "could make an appearance on season three, but it would be similar to the last where he's only shown for a small part." The insider added, "Scott's not filming 24/7 with them."

"He's focusing on making money separate from the show because he doesn't have that financial support anymore. He's looking for brand partnerships and his next career move, especially after his spin-off show ['Flip It Like Disick'] flopped," the source added.

As for Scott's absence in the sophomore season, the informant said, "Scott's minimal appearance in season two comes as no surprise. The Kardashians moving to Hulu and Travis marrying Kourtney had a lot to do with it." The source added, "The focus of the show is on the girls. Since Scott's not romantically involved with Kourtney, they didn't feel like there was a storyline for him."

The insider continued saying that the 39-year-old star's "tension and estrangement" with Travis and Kourtney was another reason why he didn't film much. "Travis and Scott don't like each other at all. They can't stand to be in the same room together," the source claimed.
