AceShowbiz - Jonathan Majors is unfazed by the negative reviews for "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania". Although the film becomes the second-lowest rated in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Kang the Conqueror depicter said it doesn't change how he sees himself.

The movie, which also stars Paul Rudd, Kathryn Newton and Bill Murray, currently holds a 48 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, one point about the lowest-rated MCU movie, "Eternals". When addressing the matter on Indie Wire's "Screen Talk" podcast, he said, "It doesn't change how I see myself, period. It's all data."

"I'm a performance within a story," he added. "One thing I will say to my team as we're leaving a premiere if they're reading reviews, I'll say, 'How's the movie doing?' I try to clean my plate and take care of my part. The response is: 'You're straight. You're good. They like you.' And they tell me about the movie."

"I look at the aggregate and, Ok, 47," the actor said of the new "Ant-Man" movie. "But what does that 47 mean when you also got this amount of box office? What do these things mean? It's information. I am in the know. I won't play myself."

About the people behind the reviews, Jonathan shared, "They have an opinion. You always have an opinion." He went on saying, "I'm no fool. I know these are people writing it."

It's unclear whether there will be a continuation of "Ant-Man" movies. However, director Peyton Reed previously declared that he's unsure about the franchise's future, saying, "I'm superstitious about this stuff, right? I mean, when we were doing the first Ant-Man there was certainly no guarantee we were going to get to make a second one. And even after the second one, there was no guarantee."
