AceShowbiz - "Hacks" season 3 production is put on halt as star Jean Smart is recovering from a recent successful heart procedure. The actress revealed her health condition in an Instagram post as she urged fans to be more aware of their health.

"February is American Heart Month -- a time when the nation spotlights heart health, so it feels important to share with all of you that I am recovering from a recent, successful heart procedure," the 71-year-old star shared in the Thursday, February 23 post. "I am fortunate to have excellent professional care and support from family and friends while I continue to recuperate."

While the Emmy-winning actress didn't further details about her condition, she encouraged her fans to take their health seriously. "Please listen to your body and talk to your doctor - I'm very glad I did," she concluded.

Fans quickly sent well wishes in the comments section. "Heal well and quickly, you national treasure, you," one fan wrote. "Jean Thanks so much for sharing this message Iam so very glad to hear you are recovering. I’m sending you a lot of positive energy Many greetings from Austria," another fan raved.

Someone else added, "Glad to hear that your procedure was successful. Like you, I am a longtime T1 diabetic (over 54 years), and I recently started taking aggressive steps to prevent the heart complications that can come from diabetes. Wishing you continued good health."

As Jean needs time to recover, it has been reported that production on the upcoming season of "Hacks" has been paused for some departments. "We are so happy that our beloved Jean Smart's heart procedure was successful and she's on the mend," read a joint statement issued on behalf of HBO Max and Universal Television. "HBO Max and UTV sent their well wishes."

Production on the third season of the comedy show started this winter. According to Deadline, the production is expected to resume on or around March 13.
