AceShowbiz - T.I. has responded after Boosie Badazz (formerly Lil Boosie) called him a "rat" in an interview. The Atlanta rapper fired back at his fellow hip-hop artist after the later spoke up about canceling their joint project because Tip allegedly snitched on his dead cousin.
Posting a clip of Boosie's interview on his Instagram account, T.I. blasted the Baton Rogue native for not checking the fact first. He invited Boosie to read his paperwork, writing, "Yeah so... Idk if it's you or ya 'OG Uncle' that needs to see it... but I GOT MY PAPERWORK ready to show!!! PULL UP!!! My number the same & my address the same my n***a."
"To get on da net & speak on s**t you've never spoke to me about is leaving me to believe you been hiding ya heart the whole time!!!! I'd NEVER speak 'certain disrespect' on your name/reputation bout a 'IF' homie...," he claimed in the caption.
The "Whatever You Like" hitmaker went on defending himself against the snitching allegations, "da convict code say When in doubt...pull the paperwork out!!! & 'IF' you ain't did that...Now ... Idk what type of time you on but I say again... 'IF' it was a question or confusion bout anything I said you could've called and asked .... so u can report back & tell ya 'OG' ...or you could've pulled up & checked the blk & white like I'm offering now."
"Either way tho my n***a ... I ain't bound to no n***a's opinion of me... cause what dey 'THINK' will NEVER overrule what I KNOW!!!" he continued lashing out. "So don't wonder no mo' homie.... answer the 'IF'... PULL UP & report back to da rest of these n***az who opinions matter so much to you. Cause I could Give a F**k bout what no n***a think bout me!!!"
The 42-year-old star added, " 'The tail shall never wag the dog' Leadership Leads.... wit facts and stats... we don't follow no fantasyland s**t...remember that!!! & I ain't bending my knees for nothing or fearing nothing but GOD!!! So cmon & see what you speaking bout so next time you can speak intelligently. @mamaheliveagain.2.0 I expected more from you. This s**t ain't solid. obviously I thought we WAS something we WASNT."
In an episode of "experdiTIously" in 2020, T.I. explained that he caught a gun charge with his cousin, though it was later dismissed. "After he had passed, I had a talk with him. Toot said, 'I'll take all the charges you got! If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right!' " Tip recalled his dead cousin telling him.
Boosie claimed in a recent interview with VladTV that T.I.'s confession forced him to cancel their joint project. "I don't know if that's true," he said on Tip's snitch-uation, "If he did that, you're a f**kin' rat, too," he said. "I don't spare no-mothaf**kin'-body... if you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of troubleā¦ that means you're a rat."
The "Wipe Me Down" rapper explained he didn't think T.I. was speaking truthfully when he spoke on snitching on his dead cousin. "I'm like why the f**k he say that when we got a f**king album 'bout to come out?!" he ranted. "It ruined everything."
Though he doubts the validity of T.I.'s snitching confession, Boosie said he had no choice but to scrap the completed album because he would've disappointed his fans if he dropped the album. "I woke up my motherf**king phone full of [angry messages]," the 40-year-old star said, adding that they already had "about eight nine songs" for the album before it was canceled.
