In addition to "Reality", which centers around the true story of NSA whistleblower Reality Winner, Sydney will soon star opposite "The White Lotus" co-star Simona Tabasco in a new psychological thriller titled "Immaculate".
According to Deadline, the HBO Max series's breakout star will join writer Andrew Lobel and director Michael Mohan's "Immaculate", where Sydney is set to play "a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent." The cast also included Alvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano and Giorgio Colangeli.
Prior to this, Sydney reflects on her career and how her appearance affects it. She shared that while she's naturally a brunette, she admitted that she landed more roles when she dyed her hair blonde.
"I'm naturally a brunette - almost all of my life I was a brunette," the "Sharp Objects" actress revealed to Yahoo Life. "I highlighted my hair for 'Everything Sucks!', but I really went blonde for 'Euphoria'."
She added, "There was this complex where no one really knew me as brunette Syd, and I didn't really book as much as I did when I was blonde - but I'm back to brunette because the blonde was killing my hair, and I needed to grow it out a little bit. I kind of feel like I'm myself again."
