AceShowbiz - Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon has sparked online chatter over her outfit choice. The 26-year-old model has faced criticism after sporting a devil red dress at a show during New York Fashion Week.
The 64-year-old Queen of Pop's eldest daughter, who also goes by Lola and the artist name Lolahol, set the runway ablaze when she appeared in Luis De Javier's Fashion Week show on Tuesday, February 14 in a red hot dress from the designer. When strutting the runway, the young model donned a sculpted fiery red mini dress with a lace-up back, complete with pointy devil horns on her chest.
The bold dress was accompanied by an even more devilish hat made of black denim and more horns atop her head. The headwear was finished with yellow and red accents as well as a "D" front and center, featuring its own set of horns.
Lourdes also wore knee-high scarlet socks and stilettos, matching the ruby dress. To add some glam, she had cherry red lips, matching nails and bleached brows. The teeny-tiny dress also gave her the opportunity to show off her sticker-style tattoos, like the Rolls Royce emblem, a devil on her right arm and the butterflies sitting over her heart.
Upon learning of her daring look, critics hopped on Twitter to share their thoughts. "not a good look," one person remarked. A second chimed in, "Oh my word, that is such an unflattering outfit!"
Others, meanwhile, suggested that Lourdes only gets the job because her mom is Madonna. "Fancy only getting a job because of who your mum is," one social media user commented, while another added, "Nepotism gone wrong." Someone weighed in, "With all of the privilege at her finger tips this is the best that she could do. Sad, really."
Lourdes walked her first New York Fashion Week almost five years ago, making her debut at Gypsy Sport's Spring 2019 show, wearing shredded jeans, chunky dad sneakers and an elaborate shell bra.
