Danny, who played alongside Ashton on 'That '70s Show', was charged in with three counts of rape in June 2020 from alleged incidents that occurred between 2001 and 2003.

AceShowbiz - Ashton Kutcher has weighed in on Danny Masterson's legal trouble. When sitting down with Esquire, the "That '70s Show" alum said he hopes his former co-star is found "innocent" in his rape case.

Though he wants Danny "to be found innocent of the charges brought against him," Ashton made it clear that he does not want his friend to "get off the hook." Instead, he genuinely hopes that the allegations brought against his pal were untrue.

"Ultimately, I can't know. I'm not the judge. I'm not the jury. I'm not the DA. I'm not the victim. And I'm not the accused. And so, in that case, I don't have a space to comment," the 44-year-old added. "I just don't know."

Still, Ashton found it difficult to see Danny's situation. "Someday, his kid is going to read about this," he said, referring to 8-year-old Fianna, whom Danny shares with wife Bijou Phillips.

At the same time, the husband of Mila Kunis shows support for those who have been victims of abuse. "I wholesale feel for anybody who feels like they were violated in any way," he declared.

Back in June 2020, Danny was charged with three counts of rape from alleged incidents that occurred between 2001 and 2003. His 2022 court case, meanwhile, ended in a mistrial in December. He will now face a second trial on rape charges.
