AceShowbiz - 6ix9ine a.k.a. Tekashi 69 is hearing the wedding bells. On Friday, December 9, a photo of the "TROLLZ" rapper proposing to his new girlfriend during their trip to Dubai surfaced online.
The said image was shared by DJ Akademiks on his Instagram page. The media personality wrote in the caption, "6ix9ine proposes to his new ting in Dubai."
In the picture, 6ix9ine could be seen getting down on his knee while holding and kissing the woman's hand in front of a heart-shaped rose arch. The words "Will you marry me?" were lit up behind the pair. For the occasion, the 26-year-old could be seen wearing a black shirt, pants and beanie, while his lady rocked a sexy white mini dress.
It remains to be seen who the mystery woman is and whether the proposal was real. 6ix9ine himself has yet to confirm the engagement news on his social media accounts.
6ix9ine was most recently in a relationship with Rachel Wattley, who is also known as Jade. The now-exes made headlines back in August after having a public dispute while they were partying at a Miami nightclub. The altercation reportedly started inside the packed club and eventually spilled outside.
In footage obtained by TMZ, Jade could be seen being escorted outside while yelling at 6ix9ine. It's unclear what exactly precipitated this, but the "FEFE" spitter was seen being surrounded by people. At one point, one of the ladies was trying to swing on him.
6ix9ine later moved to a luxury vehicle where he was encircled by some people, including cops. When police arrived, they allegedly noticed the New York City native "had a visible minor injury to his left cheek" and he told them that Jade hit him inside the venue. Some witnesses also claimed to have seen Jade getting physical and trying to grab 6ix9ine's chain.
Police said 6ix9ine did not want to cooperate with them, but they found enough evidence to take Jade into custody. She was booked on a battery charge related to domestic violence and was held at Miami-Dade County Jail before her sister posted a $1,500 bail on her.
