According to a new report, the 'It Chapter Two' actor and the stand-up comedian had a brief rebound romance after Bill split from Anna Kendrick and Ali divorced Justin Hakuta.

AceShowbiz - Bill Hader and Ali Wong reportedly dated each other for two months this year. According to a new report, the pair had a brief rebound romance after Bill split from Anna Kendrick and Ali divorced Justin Hakuta.

An insider told Page Six that the funny couple started dating "at least two months ago" before calling it quits. "They're no longer dating. They dated very briefly," the source shared.

The "Barry" co-creator and the stand-up comedian reportedly hid their fling in light of her divorce. "Only a small circle of A-list comedians know and everyone was thrilled about it. [Their friends] helped them protect the relationship in light of Ali's divorce," another source revealed.

Of the reasons why they ended their romance, the informant shared, "They're just super busy with things." Despite their split, the former couple allegedly didn't have bad blood with each other as the insider noted, "[The split] was certainly amicable. They're certainly friends."

Ali divorced Justin, her husband of eight years, in April. A source shared at the time that the former spouses ended things amicably. "They will continue to co-parent lovingly," the source told PEOPLE at the time.

Meanwhile, Bill and Anna broke up in June after news that they were dating emerged in January. The "Pitch Perfect" actress and the "It Chapter Two" actor reportedly had been seeing each other for more than a year at the time since they starred together in the Disney+ Christmas movie "Noelle".

"Anna has been dating Bill quietly for over a year," the source spilled. "They met years ago. She's hosted 'Saturday Night Live' and they've done a movie together, but they got together well after the movie. They are both very private people, and with the pandemic it was easy to keep it quiet. They're both hysterical so they must keep each other laughing all of the time. She's really, really happy."

Another source dished on the pair's relationship to Us Weekly, "They're really into each other and make each other laugh - a lot." The so-called insider added, "Bill and Anna clicked right away. They dig each other's sense of humor," revealing that the comedic actors were "flying under the radar and enjoying the simple things - as opposed to [doing] anything too flashy."
