LeAnn Rimes Announces Rescheduled Dates for Her Concerts as She Suffers From Vocal Cord Bleed

When sharing the canceled shows, the singer tells her fans, 'I am devastated to have to do this as there was nothing more that I was looking forward to than celebrating the holidays with you.'

AceShowbiz - LeAnn Rimes has been forced to cancel two of her upcoming concerts. Revealing that she is suffering from vocal cord bleed, the "How Do I Live" singer announced rescheduled dates for her two shows.

The 40-year-old shared the announcement via Instagram on Wednesday, December 7. "It completely and utterly breaks my heart to have to announce that I will be rescheduling this weekend's shows," she first wrote in a hand-written letter.

"While sick with the flu, my doctor discovered a bleed on my vocal cord, caused by the violent cough that came along with being sick," the musician added. "I am getting better, but I am unable to talk or sing... doctor's orders!"

"I am devastated to have to do this as there was nothing more that I was looking forward to than celebrating the holidays with you," she went on lamenting. "Please check your emails for rescheduled information and I will see you very soon."

In the caption, LeAnn divulged that her show at the Ryman in Nashville would be rescheduled for April 8, 2023, Meanwhile, the Riverside Casino and Golf resort show in Riverside, Iowa would be moved to September 29.

The two shows were part of LeAnn's "JOY: The Holiday Tour". The wife of Eddie Cibrian kicked off the tour on December 2 and will resume it on December 16 in Lincoln City, Oregon.

There will be another show at the same venue on December 17. She will conclude the trek on the next day at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Airway Heights, Washington.

>LeAnn has been getting candid about her sick days via her Instagram Stories. In one post, she shared, "The realization that I'm not super human is hitting me hard… J/K, Just over here, rolling with life and things that are out of my control. Feeling a bit sad."
