AceShowbiz - Victoria Monet revealed that her daughter Hazel has Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). When coming forward with the baby's health issue, the "Moment" singer also shared tips with fellow mothers so it won't happen to their kids.
"PARENTS please be careful and think twice about gatherings with other children this season!" the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram Story alongside a photo of her and her daughter wearing an oxygen mask. "RSV is getting to our babies."
"Stay distant in public places and if you can't, have your baby mask up carry wipes and sanitize everything!" the musician continued. "I mean extra clean! Also red ONIONS around the house is a must! If you hear a cough, just get them checked no matter how mild you think it is."
Victoria went on to assure fans that her daughter Hazel "is okay" despite "having a bit of trouble breathing at night since she can't clear her own mucus at this age." She added, "A week from now she will be back at 100. Stay safe out there guys. Prayers up for all of us."
"Also, lots of vitamin C straight from the oranges and get y'all some elderberry! Keep the socks on the babies and give warm baths to melt mucus and relax them," she penned in a follow-up Story. "Use the soft tissue infused with lotion for them. Grab saline wash's for their noses. don't worry they will be okay just make them comfortable through this."
Victoria, who co-wrote the hit singles "thank u, next" and "7 Rings" for close pal Ariana Grande, welcomed her daughter with John Gaines in February 2021. When announcing the news, she declared at that time, "Hazel Monet Gaines 2/21/21. Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!! Welcome to the world."
