AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner is once again forced to defend herself from online trolls. Having been accused of sharing her son's photos to cover up the Balenciaga scandal, "The Kardashians" star was quick to blast the critic who brought up the allegation.
On Monday, November 28, the 25-year-old posted a series of pictures on Instagram. Two of the snaps showed the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum spending time with her baby boy, whom she shares with Travis Scott (II).
Some of her followers criticized the post, with one commenting, "Using your son to take the attention away from the Balenciaga scandal…. Classic Kylie." Another penned, "Interesting we start seeing baby photos with all the heat they are getting right now. Well played Kris!!!"
One TikTok user shared a screenshot of Kylie's post in a video, and that's when the reality star offered her clapback. "Uh whyyyyyy would i post my child to cover up for balenciaga ? this is why i don't do this. always something to say."
Ironically, the mom of two happened to be wearing Balenciaga in one of the pictures she shared. In a mirror selfie, she was seen sporting a pair of the brand's platform boots as well as its dark sunglasses.
While Kylie has yet to speak up about Balenciaga allegedly sexualizing children through its latest campaign, her sister Kim Kardashian has shared her stance. "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened," she said in a statement.
"As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images," the daughter of Kris Jenner went on saying. "The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and anything against it should have no place in our society - period."
On Sunday, Kim declared that she is "currently re-evaluating" her relationship with the Spanish luxury brand. She added, "basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with."
