Sources close to both the Good American founder and the NBA star told TMZ that he attended the bash, which took place at Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills estate, only to spend with their children. The insiders went on to stress that the Boston Celtics player and "The Kardashians" star aren't an item in any romantic capacity.
It was said that the former couple is determined to repair their relationship to a certain point that allows them to co-parent their two kids, daughter True and a newborn son, without drama. The sources also claimed that "there's not a chance Khloe would get back with Tristan romantically" because "he's destroyed those chances" by cheating on Khloe multiple times.
The news outlet also noted that Khloe and Tristan are in "a really good place now" and that the athlete is "a great dad" to his kids.
Another source, meanwhile, revealed to HollywoodLife.com that "Khloe still wants Tristan there for the special moments. She feels it's important for her kids to have those memories with him and bond." The 38-year-old beauty allegedly "is aware that people are going to have opinions about her inviting him around but she's not going to let that stop her from doing what's best for her kids."
Despite that, it was still hard for Khloe to face Tristan, who was revealed to have fathered a child with another woman when the pair were expecting their second child together. "It actually took a lot of strength for her to be able to put aside her own anger and pain and allow for him to be there for Halloween with the kids," the insider continued.
"It certainly isn't easy for her, but she's doing it because him having a bond with their children is more important to her than letting her own feelings run the show. Does it make it easy for her? No, but she doesn't care because the happiness of her children comes above all else," the source went on to detail.
Prior to this, a TikTok video shared by Kim's oldest daughter North saw Tristan celebrating the spooky holiday at the bash on Sunday, October 30. The 31-year-old was featured donning a black athleisure with an Iron Man mask in one of his hands. Khloe opted for a black bodysuit, face paint and matching cat ears, while True looked adorable in an Owlette costume from "PJ Masks".
