When further addressing the divorce from his supermodel ex-wife for 13 years in a new interview, the seven-time Super Bowl champion says that he's now 'really focused on two things.'

AceShowbiz - Tom Brady has further detailed things surrounding his recent divorce from Gisele Bundchen. In the very first interview since finalizing the "amicable" split, the NFL star has vowed to be a "great father" to his kids.

In the Monday, October 31 episode of his Sirius XM show "Let's Go!", the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback discussed "giving all you can to the team" while dealing with personal challenges, after he and his now-ex-wife filed for divorce on Friday, October 28 which was finalized hours later.

"There's a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home," Tom began. "And obviously the good news is it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things; taking care of my family and certainly my children, secondly doing the best job I can to win football games."

"We all have unique challenges in life. We're all humans. We do the best we can do. I have incredible parents that have always taught me the right way to do things. I want to be a great father to my children, and always do things the right way as well," Tom elaborated further. "I want to always be able to hold my head high on and off the field, and I'm gonna try to do that as long as I'm here."

Tom went on to highlight that it's "what professionals do." He explained, "You focus at work when it's time to work and then when you come home you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you can do is the best you can do. That's what I'll continue to do as long as I'm working and as long as I'm being a dad."

Tom was later asked about compartmentalizing the two. "I think that's what being a professional is," the 45-year-old footballer continued. "I've dealt with a lot of challenging situations on and off the field in 23 years, and a lot of it does play out in front of a lot of people."

Meanwhile, it's reported that Gisele is doing just fine. Through the divorce, "Gisele is dealing with issues that have been plaguing her for a long time," a source close to the catwalk star told PEOPLE.

The source further shared that the split from Tom "was hard at first" for Gisele "but enough time has passed that she is settling in." The informant added the mother-of-two "has lived her own life for years while Tom played football so she is not afraid to do things by herself."

"Gisele is great with her children and radiates happiness when either one or both are around," the source noted, adding that "having them with her has helped her move ahead." According to the insider, "nothing is more important" to Gisele than the children's "happiness" during this time. "They will be with both parents and should come out of this in good shape."

Additionally, the insider said that Gisele "is also eager to continue with her own career and interests" now that she's legally single. "She has a full plate and lots of support," claimed the so-called source.
