Prior to this, the 'Rockstar' rapper made claims in 2020 via his social media account that he and the Canadian pop superstar had recorded five songs together.

AceShowbiz - DaBaby has something exciting for his fans. The "ROCKSTAR" hitmaker has teased a "joint project" with Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber. According to the rapper, they recorded their music during COVID-19 pandemic.

When making an appearance on Power 105.1 FM's "Clue Radio" with DJ Clue on Wednesday, October 26, the 30-year-old hip-hop artist revealed that he and the "Peaches" crooner have a "joint album" in the vault.

"Me and Justin Bieber we recorded like a joint project for like a whole damn hour," DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, told DJ Clue. The "Boogeyman" emcee further offered details, "We recorded really like around like COVID."

DaBaby went on to explain that he and the 28-year-old singer had to "send records like back and forth around COVID and s**t." When asked what it's about, the "BOP" spitter refused to answer as saying, "Press play and you'll see."

Reacting to DaBaby's statement, one person commented on Instagram, "We do not want that mess lol." A second echoed, "Nahh him and Justin Bieber not a good Duo." A separate user even said, "Justin shouldn't release this record."

Someone else opined, "He needs to be canceled his energy is Dark," seemingly referring to DaBaby's controversial homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami last year. Another noted, "Dababy can retire. He done."

This wasn't the first time DaBaby teased that he has a collaboration with Justin. Back in 2020, a fan asked him on Twitter, "@DaBabyDaBaby When will U and Justin Bieber collaborating on a song ? U guys will make history." In response, he said, "We got like 5 of em," along with a finger over the mouth emoji insinuating to stay quiet.

Following the insensitive remarks he made at the Miami festival, DaBaby was canceled with many brands cutting ties with him and some music shows pulling him off. His credit on Dua Lipa's "Levitating" remix was also removed.

More recently, DaBaby revealed that his controversial Rolling Loud performance cost him over $100 million. "I ain't into all of the conspiracy theories, this and that, until you see it really cost a n***as a $100 million within a year's span," he revealed during an interview with Hot 97's "Ebro in the Morning" on Tuesday, October 25.
