AceShowbiz - "Love And Hip Hop: Miami" alum Prince (II) had a run-in with the law once again. The former VH1 star was arrested on Monday, October 17 after allegedly beating up his girlfriend and stealing her money.
The 33-year-old, whose real name is Christopher Michael Harty, was booked at 9:17 PM at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He has been hit with battery domestic violence by strangulation charge and a charge of robbery by sudden snatching after attacking the alleged victim and stealing $7,000 from her.
Harty is reportedly being held on a $5,000 bond. Further details about the case have yet to be released.
This was not the first time Harty had trouble with the law. In August 2021, the TV personality was taken into custody in Miami, Florida. The Sun reported at the time that Prince was facing charges of kidnapping and battery. He was also charged with a handful of less-serious offenses, including possession of drugs without a prescription and disorderly conduct.
According to the arrest records, Harty's partner entered his apartment to return a pair of shoes. However, instead of placing them down, she allegedly tossed the shoes at him. Thus, Harty "grabbed her, slammed her to the ground, and punched her in the mouth."
Harty himself was previously involved in a physical altercation with Tory Lanez back in 2019. At the time, the latter allegedly swung on the former at a Florida club, LIV, shortly before he took the stage to perform. Eyewitnesses said at the time that the rest of Tory's security team and entourage allegedly joined in on the beat down too.
In May last year, it was unveiled that Tory reignited their longstanding beef when they ran into each other at club Vendome on South Beach at around 4 A.M. According to a police report obtained by the site, Harty told cops he was hanging at his table when he was approached and suddenly struck on the left side of his face.
Harty said he turned around and made eye contact with Tory, but the latter quickly ran out of the club and took off in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. A representative for Harty confirmed the alleged attack, adding that the reality TV star was hanging out with NFL star Malcolm Butler when he noticed some guys staring at them.
