The first full-length trailer of the upcoming Marvel movie follows a period of grieving in Wakanda immediately with a threat of an invasion by the new villain.

AceShowbiz - Marvel has unleashed a new trailer for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". While the previously-released teaser trailer dealt with how the people of Wakanda grapple with T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) death, the full-length trailer shows more of Wakanda's future.

The trailer still opens with a period of mourning over the loss of Wakanda's leader. As the throne is still empty, the video introduces Namor (Tenoch Huerta), the leader of the underwater kingdom of Talocan.

"Only the most broken people can be great leaders," Namor says in voiceover, while M'Baku (Winston Duke) warns that killing Namor would be akin to killing his people's god. "His people do not call him general or king. They call him Kukulkan...the feather serpent god. Killing him will risk eternal war," M'Baku says in the video.

The trailer also introduces Dominique Thorne as American inventor Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart, who is using her incredible talent to follow in the footsteps of the late Tony Stark. As Riri's inclusion may contribute to significant technology development in Wakanda, the video then shows the new Panther costume at the end. While it appears that the new hero is female, her face is not shown.

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" serves as the last entry in Marvel's Phase Four. Speaking to EW about continuing the franchise without recasting Boseman's role T'Challa, director Ryan Coogler explains, "I had to find a way that I felt like I could keep going and a way that our 'Black Panther' family could keep going. I started to come up with a film that had elements of the film that we had just finished writing, but also applied the themes that the people who were hurting just as much as me could actually perform and execute and come out on the other side whole."

"The film deals with a lot of things, but one of them is foils - people who exist in contrast, but there's a thread of similarity," he further details. "In this film, we get to see Shuri meet someone who has some things in common with her, but is also very, very different."

Of the results he wants to achieve, Coogler shares, "What we were after was just making it feel tactile, even though it felt like a dream. The film should feel like a really wild dream that you would have, but where everything felt like it was really there."

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is set to hit theaters on November 11. The movie also stars Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.
